Wild Hop is a buzzing, family friendly brewery located in the Yallingup Hills.
We offer a fun, supportive work environment, in a casual dining venue, that cooks a small but dynamic menu using loads of fresh, local produce. We batch brew our own beer on site, and offer a small selection of locally sourced wines, spirits and other beverages.

JUNIOR SOUS CHEF
We are on the hunt for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, working with a family-style, produce-driven menu and a strong focus on woodfired cooking. We’re a busy, quality-driven brewery and tavern in the Margaret River region, offering daytime service only, a supportive team culture, and a genuine opportunity to step into a leadership role.
About the Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to help run day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain high food standards, and support the wider kitchen team. This is a hands-on role with real opportunity for growth. Regular weekend work is expected.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations

Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control

Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff and apprentices

Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance

Assist with ordering, stock control, and cost management

Lead shifts and manage service in the absence of senior chefs
Skills & Experience

Trade-qualified chef (or equivalent experience)

Previous experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous preferred

Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations

DISH HAND // KITCHEN HAND

APPRENTICE CHEF
We are looking for an eager Apprentice Chef to join our team. We are a 150 seat brew-pub, located in the Yallingup hills area. We offer a "family style" share menu of wood fired protein dishes paired with seasonal vegetable dishes and salads. We trade 7 days, with day shifts only (no nights or early mornings).
Our kitchen works at a fast pace and work schedules will include weekends.
While experience in a commercial kitchen is a bonus, enthusiasm and good attitude is the key in this role.
We offer hospitality award rates; a supportive team environment; and additional perks. As we are centrally located in the south-west, you have the option to attend Tafe in either Margaret River, or Bunbury. Given our rural location, a driver's license and car is generally required for this role.
You will need to be passionate about food, career driven and a team player.
Training for an apprentice cook covers basic culinary skills, knife skills, knowledge of ingredients, use of commercial equipment and kitchen procedures.

Your main duties include but not limited to:

Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of meals

Training to learn procedures and duties in food preparation

Working under the supervision of the chef

Operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and stoves

Serves food when required

Kitchen cleaning, such as dish washing and equipment cleaning, sanitation

Assists in other areas of food preparation and storage
Skills and abilities required…

JUNIOR KITCHEN HAND

We are looking for a local junior to support our kitchen team on weekends, with additional shifts available over school holidays and long weekends. This is a great first job - no experience is required, but confidence and a good work ethic is important.
Shifts are generally form 10.30am until when our kitchen team finishes (around 6/6.30pm). Duties include tasks such as putting dishes and kitchen utensils away; emptying bins; acting as a gopher for our chefs during service; general cleaning and some light kitchen prep from time to time.
